It takes a whole year for the volunteers (some who have been doing this for decades!) to sort through the millions of book donations. I LOVE creating order out of chaos, so my volunteer time has been lots of fun. We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner eating outside with my neighbors as is the Mitchell Street tradition known as French Thanksgiving. Friday morning, all the kids and adults made their way to the park and played a game of kickball.
